The air-conditioned hotel was constructed in the classical style of
a Mexican hacienda and is situated amidst lush gardens. It was
freshly renovated in 2006 and comprises a total of 294 rooms spread
across eight floors. Amongst the hotel's facilities count a foyer
with 24-hour reception, a safe, a porter's lodge, a currency
exchange facility, and lift access. Further amenities include a
hairdresser, a WLAN access point, a travel agent, a babysitting
service, a launderette and a dry cleaning service. Two business
centres with a total of 12 conference and banqueting rooms
(capacity of 30-500 persons) as well as technical equipment and
secretarial services are available for those arriving on business.
The personalised service here encompasses morning wake-up calls, a
daily newspaper, medical assistance, room service, a 24-hour taxi
service, and parking facilities. Culinary options include the
""Jacarandas"" restaurant, which is located on the ninth floor and
serves both national and international cuisine, to the
accompaniment of live piano or violin music. Guests may also enjoy
the La Fuente restaurant, the cafe, the terrace, or the Manglar
lobby bar, where live music is performed all night long.
Rooms
The modern and spacious rooms have recently been renovated and
modernised. They all come with the new Sleep Advantage system,
which consists of hypoallergenic bed linen and pillows in a range
of sizes and materials - according to guests' wishes. In addition,
there is a CD with exercises and relaxing music to aid sleep, as
well as other special comforts (blindfold, curtain clips etc.)
Further standard fittings include WLAN Internet access, satellite/
cable TV, tea and coffee making facilities, a radio alarm clock, an
en suite bathroom, a hairdryer, a telephone in the bathroom and
