The Ryokan is in the center of Kameoka. It is 7 minuets walk from JR Kameoka station, one of the landmarks in Kameoka. It is approximately 30 minuets drive from Kyoto city center, or approximately 20 minutes by express train and approximately 30 minuets by high speed train from JR Kyoto Station(via JR SANIN HONSEN Line). It is approximately 10 minutes drive to the mooring place of The Houses river riding. 12 kms to city centre 130 kms to the airport (kansai) 40 kms to the airport (itami) 1 km to the nearest station (jr kameoka)

This Ryokan is registered as National Tangible Cultural Properties and has a long and rich history of the over 100 years. The interior is emphasized the unity of the Japanese and European styles. Also guest can enjoy the beautiful Japanese gardens.The ryokan is the perfect choice for sightseeing around Kameoka.
Exterior: The Ryokan is a traditional Japanese residence style with its own stunning private garden. A part of residence is designed modernly.
Lobby: Lobby is small in size and decorated in warm tone with welcoming atmosphere.

Rooms

The rooms are Japanese style rooms with private toilet/bath and no beds,furnished with a low table and zabuton floor cushions on Japanese straw tatami mats.By night, the room is transformed with Japanese futons into a sleeping area.Flat screen televisions are available in all rooms.
