Taborstrasse always had a special significance as an access road to the imperial city of Vienna. The charming hotel with it's over 300 yeras of tradition is a good starting point for visitors to Vienna. Most major sites can be quickly and easily reached by foot from the hotel along with public transport, shops, restaurants and bars. St. Stephan's Cathedral is only a short walk away from the hotel and Vienna's airport lies around 14 km away.

The hotel offers the most modern amenities combined with cordial Viennese atmosphere and centuries-old tradition. Built in 1703 and renovated in 2006, there are 120 rooms over 5 floors. The restaurant, serving classical Viennese dishes, its shady courtyard garden, the café bar Stefanie, banquet and conference rooms as well as the hotel's garage are part of the broad range of offerings. The air-conditioned establishment also includes a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a safe, a currency exchange, a cloakroom and a lift. WLAN/Internet access is also available along with room and laundry services (fees apply).

The rooms are tastefully decorated and many of them have views overlooking the courtyard garden.
