Newly opened in 2008, this family-friendly golf resort offers a
total of 346 studio, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom villas with fully
equipped kitchen facilities. Located high atop the lush, emerald
cliffs that line Kauai's North Shore of Princeville, the villas
offer guests the opportunity to revitalise the spirit and the
senses amidst gentle, rolling countryside, magnificent canyons and
desert-like sand dunes. Facilities on offer to guests include a
lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a
restaurant and Internet access (charges apply). 2 pool bars also
located on the property. Free self-parking or valet parking is
available for a fee.
Rooms
All studios, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom villas offer Hawaiian-style
décor and fine furnishings inspired by the stunning natural beauty
of Kauai. All kitchens/kitchenettes include a full-size fridge, an
oven/microwave oven and all cooking/dish ware. Guests can relax in
the spa tub and Westin Heavenly(r) shower or enjoy the spectacular
views from their private lanai. Villas also feature the convenience
of an in-room washer and dryer and free Internet access. They are
also equipped with satellite/cable TV, a stereo system, an ironing
set, individually adjustable air conditioning and a safe.
Restaurant & Food
Located on the first floor of the Clubhouse, the restaurant and bar
offers an array of casual dining options for breakfast and dinner.
There are also a couple of bars that feature an array of refreshing
beverages and delectable poolside dining.
Activities & Sport
Guests can relax on property with 3 pools, 2 poolside snackbars, 3
hot tubs, 1 children's pool, a gym and a BBQ area. They can also
relax in the sauna or steam bath, with a game of tennis (charges
apply) or a workout in the gym. It is also possible to go horse
riding (charges apply) and Makai Golf Course is just a 3-minute
walk away (charges apply). The hotel organises a programme of
activities and entertainment for children for an additional
fee.
Directions, How to get
there
Guests coming from Lihue Airport should exit Lihue Airport from the
baggage claim area and take a slight left on Route 57 (Ahukini
Road). Turn right onto Route 51 (Kapule Highway) and drive for 2.5
km. Kapule Highway turns into Route 56 (Kuhio Highway). Continue
driving north on Kuhio Highway for 40.5 km. Turn right on Ka Haku
Road - the entrance to the resort - and continue for 600 m. Turn
right on Wyllie Road. The resort is at the end of Wyllie Road.
