Rooms
All accommodation is elegantly designed and furnished, yet
complements and blends in with the surrounding natural environment.
There is a choice of 5 different villa styles, which are Spa
Villas, Sea Villas, Beach Villas, Garden Villas and Hill Villas.
There are also 3 elegant 1-bedroom suites and 8 magnificent
residences are situated on an adjacent, secluded bay. All
accommodation features spacious interiors, luxurious fabrics, and
private balconies with cushioned deckchairs. All villas boast
central or individual air conditioning, king-size beds, a writing
desk, an electronic safe, a direct dial telephone, hairdryer, a
mini fridge, a TV and coffee and tea making facilities.
Additionally, there is a CD player with a large selection of music
available from the library.
Restaurant & Food
To satisfy guests' appetite, the resort boasts some fine dining
venues, which are Fisherman's Cove, Royal Bay Beach Club, The
Straits and more. Fisherman's Cove serves unique symphony of
Western Grill, fresh seafood and Italian cuisine, and Royal Bay
Beach Club that overlooks the pool serves Asian and Western
cuisines. Furthermore, The Straits serves the cuisines of
South-East Asia influences, and for children under the age of 16
are not allowed in this restaurant to comfort other guests.
Activities & Sport
This resort features a wide range of facilities and activities for
its guests including three different jungle treks through the rain
forest accompanied by the hotel's experienced and informative
resident naturalist, Mr. Yip Yoon Wah. Some of the interesting
wildlife to be spotted on the island includes crab-eating macaque
monkeys, tropical monitor lizards and yellow pied horn bills. There
are also opportunities for island-hopping, fishing, tennis,
aerobics, golf and a range of water activities including kayaking,
sail-boarding, sailing, water ski and catamaran sailing. This
resort also features the award-winning Spa Village where guests may
relax with a massage.
