This is one of Hungary's most popular resorts, not just because of
the lake, but also due to the marvellous natural environment of the
Velence hills. In the 3 buildings of the hotel, guests can choose
between 183 rooms satisfying all requirements. Built in 2008, this
family-friendly air-conditioned establishment welcomes guests in a
lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, hotel safe,
currency exchange facilities, cloakroom and lift access. Younger
guests will enjoy the children's playground, while the café, bar
and restaurant provide food and drinks. The conference facilities
may be of use to business guests, while room and laundry services
are also available. Those arriving by car may take advantage of the
car park, and those looking to explore the area on their own steam
make hire bicycles from the resort.
Rooms
All of the rooms have a balcony facing Lake Velence. They are each
fitted with air conditioning, central heating, high-speed Internet
access, satellite TV (also with Internet access), telephone and
laptop-sized safe. Other conveniences include the minibar,
coffee/tea kettle, radio and a double bed. The en suite bathrooms
come with shower/bathtub, hairdryer and bathrobe. There are
connecting rooms for families, and extra beds and children's cots
can be provided on request.
Restaurant & Food
In the Sanse Restaurant, there are international dishes and local
specialities for guests to try. A breakfast buffet is served daily,
while lunch and dinner are offered à la carte. In addition, dinner
is offered in the form of a buffet.
Activities & Sport
The spa centre offers a wide range of services and facilities for
guests wishing to relax and enjoy active recreation with medicinal
pools, yoga, belly dancing, squash (fees apply) and aerobic gym
equipment, while the marvellous lakeside and outdoor area have
other possibilities for sport and relaxation. The resort features
several swimming pools, including indoor, outdoor, heated,
saltwater and children's pools. Sun loungers and parasols have been
laid out on the sun terrace ready for use. For an additional fee,
guests may take part in an aerobics session. Further facilities
include a gym, hot tub, sauna and steam room. Massage and spa
treatments are available for additional fees. Guests may enjoy
windsurfing, sailing or playing a game of table tennis. For
additional fees, canoeing and biking equipment is provided. Golf
fans may head to Pannonia Golf & Country Club, around 29 km
away.
