Set ashore the pebble beach of Tulamben, overshadowed by the sacred
Mount Agung, the resort is located right in front of the world’s
most accessible dives sites. Mimpi Resort Tulamben has been
uniquely designed to resemble a traditional balinese fishing
compound. Featuring high-ceiling marble rooms, thatched-roof
cottages, a sea-front restaurant and pool, a spa, dive center which
are all linked by limestone pathways, sheltered by tropical coconut
trees. With a total of 29 rooms and cottages, consisting of 13
terraced patio rooms, 12 thatched-roof cottages and 4 ocean view
cottages. It's an ideal getaway for divers seeking a relaxing
holiday destination while exploring some of Bali's diverse
underwater habitat.
Cottages & Rooms
Sheltered under big trees, 13 patio Rooms are set to landscape with
lush tropical garden. The bedroom is spacious with simple natural
details, cool marble floor and high wooden ceiling. The bathroom
has an open-air shower with small garden inside. A teras facing
pond is found at the rooms main entrance.
The 12 Balinese-style deluxe cottages with peaked thatched roofs,
each with its own private garden compound and detached bale bengong
veranda which is surrounded by a lava-rock moat. Bathrooms feature
an open-air shower accessible through a door from the garden, built
specifically so divers do not have to drip wet with salt water when
passing through their bedroom. A corner shower is uniquely fenced
with black lava-rock.
Four ocean-view cottages are set near the edge of the beach,
offering breathtaking views of Tulamben bay and the constant ocean
waves, that can be enjoyed whilst relaxing at the private gazebo.
The bedroom is kept cool with marble floors and wooden
furniture.
In addition to regular amenities, each room features a double or
king-size bed and individually regulated air conditioning.
Restaurant & Food
The Resorts own 'Tunjung Resto' is an open-aired dining facility
that can be found near the edge of the pool and offers splendid
views of the blue waters of Tulamben bay. It is uniquely
constructed by wood and cozily nestled under swaying tropical trees
blown by the fragrant sea breeze. The atmosphere at the in-house
restaurant is casually relaxing and it has a menu that represents
selections from around the globe to suit every taste. A small bar
can be found in the corner of the restaurant and serve a variety of
beverages. A buffet breakfast is served each morning with à la
carte options available for lunch and dinner.
Activities & Sport
Thanks to its close proximity to the many diving spots in the area,
the resorts is targeted for divers and offers special diving
packages for guests (for an additional fee). To escape the blaring
heat of the tropical sun, guests can take a plunge in the resorts
large outdoor pool, or sunbathe at the side of the pool or the
beach. Massages and spa treatments are available on request (for a
fee).
