The hotel's architectural motifs and interior decoration remind of the beautiful seaside province of Spain. The hotel was built and owned by José Cabrero Mier, a native of Santander and served as headquarters for important ship owners from this city, such as the Count de la Mortera, whose fleet of ships operated in the Antilles. The hotel is a unique opportunity to stay at the city's seaside gateway. This 3-storey air-conditioned hotel comprises a total of 32 rooms of which 1 is a junior suite, 1 is a suite and 1 room offers disabled access. Amongst the facilities count a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange desk, a cloakroom and a lift in addition to the Cantabria Restaurant offering specialities from that region as well as an array of international dishes. The rooms are an ideal place for guests to enjoy the refreshing sea breeze, while the terrace and balconies offer a great vantage point for watching in-coming and departing ships.
