Air New Zealand Limited is the national airline and flag carrier of New Zealand. The airline operates scheduled passenger flights to 27 domestic and 34 international destinations in 15 countries across Europe, North America, Oceania and Asia. This airline also serves 8 summer charter destinations in Japan. In March 1999 Air New Zealand became a full member of the Star Alliance group.

Domestic : Air New Zealand Economy passengers are able to enjoy comfortable seats with 30 to 33 inch seat pitch and 4 inch recline. The airline provides snack and refreshment on most 737s and A320s such as coffee, muffin or cookie as breakfast menu before 8 am and also alcohol, soft drink and savory snack between 4.30 pm and 7 pm. Blankets, pillows and in-flight entertainment are not provided for short-haul flight.
Long-haul : On 777-200, 767 and 747 aircraft, Economy Class passengers are able to enjoy comfortable seats with 31 to 34 inch seat pitch, adjustable winged headrest and good leg support. Blankets and pillows are available. Air New Zealand also offers the fresh flavors of New Zealand food and wine while passengers enjoying 150 movies and 800 TV episodes on 9 inch HD touch screen. Passengers also are able to enjoy shared in-seat power and a USB connection for their device. In addition, passengers are able to relax and enjoy a complimentary snack, choice of main meals and alcoholic beverages. On 777-300 and 787 aircraft, Air New Zealand offers The Skycouch, a trio of three Economy seats transform to create a couch. To create and flexible space, passengers have to pull a footrest up from under each of the three seats. Skycouch dimensions are 1.55 m with 74 cm of width.
Premium Economy Class : On Boeing 787-9 cabins, passengers are able to enjoy luxury leather seats with generous armrests, foot support and a leg rest. The seats have 41 inch seat pitch and 9 inch recline with 19.9 inch width and a 5 inch wide armrest. Passengers on 777-300 aircraft will experience Spaceseat in the middle of cabin, designed for couples to face each other when sharing meals; Spaceseats near windows cater for those wanting privacy. In addition, passengers on 777-200 and 747 aircraft will be enjoy largest seat pitch up to 41 inch and 50% more recline than economy seats with leg rest and foot support. Passengers also can use in-seat power and in-flight entertainment on a 10.6 inch personal touch screen on 777-300, a 8.4 inch touch screen on 777-200 and 747-400 with Audio/Video on Demand. Passengers on this class will have access to premium check-in, complimentary amenity kits, bottled water, personal in-flight service, priority baggage upon arrival and premium headphone.
Business Premier Class : For passengers on this class, Air New Zealand offers the luxurious 22 inch wide leather armchairs with a separate ottoman footrest, 15 inch seat recline, adjustable winged headrest and leg support. The seats are able to convert to a 6.6 inch bed with pillow, duvet and sleep sheet. Passengers are also able to experience in-flight entertainment with Audio/Video on Demand on 11 inch HD touch screen on 787-9 aircraft, 12.1 inch widescreen touch screen on 777-300 aircraft and 10.4 inch touch screen on 777-200, 767 and 747-400 aircraft. Amenity kit includes an eye cream, lip balm, moisturizer, socks, eyeshades, toothbrush kit, earplugs and a pen are available. In addition, Air New Zealand also offers special food and beverages onboard.
Cabin :
Passengers can carry one piece of cabin baggage onboard with maximum weight 7 kg (15 lbs).
Business Class, Premium Economy & connecting Business Class customers, Air New Zealand Elite, Gold and Star Alliance Gold passengers are permitted to carry two pieces weighing a maximum combined total of 14kg (30lbs), with one of those items weighing up to 10kg.
In addition to your allowance, you may also carry onboard one small personal item such as a handbag, duty free bag or slim line laptop bag, which must be able to fit under the seat in front of you.
The maximum dimensions is not exceed (length width height) of 118cm (46.5 inch)
Check-in :
The maximum baggage limit for Economy Class is one piece with maximum weight 23 kg (50 lbs), 2 pieces with maximum 23 kg (50 lbs) each for Premium Economy Class and 3 pieces with maximum weight 23 kg (50 lbs) each for Business Premium Class.
Infants do not receive a checked baggage allowance. Strollers and car seats are permitted free of charge, when travelling with an infant or child.
Children are entitled to the same baggage allowance as the accompanying passenger.
Musical instruments will be permitted as part of checked-in baggage only.
Any portable musical instrument not exceeding 100cm in length and sporting item less than 2m in length and less than 23kg will be permitted with no charge if within permitted baggage allowance otherwise standard excess charges apply.
Air New Zealand offers Audio/Video on Demand in all classes on international services on its 747-400, 777-200ER, 767-300ER, and A320-200 aircraft. The AVOD system, branded KiaOra, features multiple channels of video, audio, music and games. Passengers also can create their own custom entertainment experience using My Playlist. On Tasman and Pacific flights, portable in-flight entertainment devices are included in The Works and Works Deluxe products but not in the Seat and Seat Bag products.
Air New Zealand offers complimentary tea, coffee and water for all passengers in all classes. Business Premier Class and Premium Economy passengers will receive complimentary meal and beverage service. Passengers purchasing Air New Zealand's Seat and Seat Bag products are able to purchase snacks, sandwiches, soft drinks and also alcoholic beverages from the In-flight Bites Menu, which may be ordered on demand by using the seat-back entertainment system on select aircraft. In addition, passengers purchasing Air New Zealand's Works and Works Deluxe products will be served a special meal and drinks.
Domestic Flights : Passengers who travelling with checked baggage are required to be checked in and bags dropped off at least 30 minutes before the departure time. In addition, for passengers who travelling without checked baggage, please be at the gate ready to board at least 15 minutes prior the departure time.
International Flights : Passengers need to be checked in no later 2 hours before their flight due to depart.
Web Check-in available beginning 24 hours before the flight departure time and will be closed 30 minutes before domestic flights and 90 minutes before international flights.

Tickets are not transferable to another person.
The fare level for children (2 - 11 years) is the same as the applicable adult fare.
One infant (0 - 23 months) not requiring a seat may travel with each adult at 10% of the applicable adult fare, with subsequent infants travelling at the child fare level.
For Domestic fare, changes permitted until day before departure with payment of $50 change fee per person (infants exempt).
Bookings cancelled will be charged a NZ$125 per person or NZ$250 per booking cancellation fee (whichever is greater).
There will be no refund for cancellation once travel has commenced or for any unused services. Requests for refunds received more than 6 months after departure date will not be accepted.
If passengers are eligible for a refund, the amount will be credited to the same form of payment used for the original purchase.
Date changes and rerouting are permitted at any time.
