Near to Central Park, the modern Apple store, Bergdorf Goodman and the famed Plaza Hotel, this hotel lies in the centre of everything. Walking north from the hotel's front door leads to the park and the Great Lawn. Fifth Avenue shopping district and the nine great museums of Upper Fifth Avenue are also just outside the door. The museums include the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Frank Lloyd Wright designed Guggenheim, with its well-known circular leitmotif. Grand Central station is a 15-minute walk from the hotel.
