The hotel was a wooden edifice built in the 19th century as a private home. In 1980 it was derelict and was rebuilt in its original Ottoman style. It was opened as a hotel in July 1990 and since then has offered traditional Turkish hospitality for guests from all over the world. There are 25 rooms at this historical air-conditioned hotel. Guests are welcomed into a lobby with a 24-hour reception service and facilities include a hotel safe, currency exchange, and cloakroom. Guests can take advantage of the hotel's WLAN Internet access and for an additional fee, utilize the room and laundry services on offer.

Airy rooms have an antique feel, offering wooden floors and furnishings, plus free Wi-Fi, cable TV, and mini-fridges. Some add sitting areas and/or partial sea views. Suites include sitting rooms and sleep up to 4. Most rooms are stair-access only. Room service is available.
