This 18-room hotel de charme is steeped in history and the ambiance of its earlier life lingers in the delicately decorated stonework, courtyard and stone arches. It was built by an Assyrian family from Mosul who paid a gold coin for each stone carved and decorated. Between 1915 and 1930 the mansion house was used as a military headquarters, in 2004 it was restored and in 2011 opened its doors to guests. The décor is comparatively simple placing great emphasis on the beautiful stonework. Guests can choose to relax on the terrace and take their breakfast in the courtyard, weather permitting. Alternatively, there is an indoor bar and restaurant. Wireless Internet access is available at the hotel and room and laundry services can be provided for an additional fee. Guests are welcomed to this establishment in a lobby area featuring 24-hour reception and check-out services and a currency exchange desk.

The atmospheric rooms offer comfortable accommodation with modern and stylish en suite facilities with a shower. Some have been converted from the caves, which were originally carved out of the local landscape, and there are 3 Midyat-style gazebos allowing guests to spend the night under the stars on the terrace. Standard features of accommodation units include a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, Internet access and a minibar, as well as a double bed, individually regulated air conditioning and heating units and a safety deposit box.

A continental breakfast is served each morning at the hotel. Lunch can be taken à la carte or selected from menu options while dinner is available as a buffet, à la carte or from a set menu.
