This magnificent close-to-nature floating lodge was founded in 1976 on the historic River Kwai and is an ideal destination for all those looking for both a magical getaway and the chance to stay in a legendary setting. This charming establishment comprises a total of 50 rooms and facilities on offer to guests include 2 bars, 2 restaurants and a laundry service.

The rooms are lit by lamps in order to preserve the natural ambience of the accommodation. The accommodation offers a private bathroom with a shower and a double bed.

The Jungle restaurant serves a sumptuous American breakfast, lunch and dinner featuring western delicacies and Thai specialities around the clock. The restaurant overlooks the river, providing excellent open-air dining, and features natural wood furniture.

Guests can enjoy swimming, fishing, canoeing, and bamboo rafting on the river. Moreover, the hotel provides many activities such as elephant rides into the jungle, trekking, bird watching, mountain biking in the National Park and visits to the nearby caves. It is also possible to relax with a massage.

Guests arriving from the centre of Bangkok should head for Phra Pinklao Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue along Pinklao Road for 35 km until reaching the junction with the A2. Turn right and follow the signs for Ratchaburi. Pass through Nakhon Chaisri and the Nakhon Pathom bypass. About 5 km further on from the bypass, look for the flyover and the sign for Kanchanaburi. Take the flyover and continue along the A323 to Ban Pong. From Ban Pong, follow the signs to Kanchanaburi (a further 50 km). On reaching Kanchanaburi, pass through the town and after around 6 km turn left at the junction and follow the signs to the Saiyoke Noi Waterfalls. The Resotel Pier is located about 60 km from the city centre and about 8 km from the Saiyoke Noi Waterfalls on the left-hand side (the pier is 1.5 km from the entrance). Catch a long-tailed boat from Resotel Pier to the floating lodge.
