Golden Horse Hotel is situated right at the gateway to Rattanakosin Island. Khaosan Road is within a 15-minute walk, and it is next to Ratchadamnown Avenue. One can commute by car about 15-20 minutes to all major temples (Emerald Temple, the reclining Buddha of Wat Po, the gold Buddha of Wat Trai Mitr, etc.), the governmental offices and departments, Sanam Luang, Government House, Grand Palace, TAT office, Hua Lampong Train Station, Southern Route Bus Terminal, the National Museum and Gallery and Phra Sumane Fortress. It is about 20-30 minutes by car to many major shopping complexes (Bang Lampoo, MBK, Siam Center, Discovery Center, Chinatown and the Old Siam). Furthermore, it is 35 km to the nearest airport which Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, and it is 5 km to the nearest station which is Hua Lampong Railway Station.
