Built in 1998 and renovated in 2003, this small hotel includes a total of 52 rooms. It is designed in the style of a modern boutique hotel and offer a number of facilities for leisure or business guests. The air-conditioned property includes a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a lift, a breakfast room and a café. In addition, guests are able to take advantage of the rooms and laundry services as well as use the garage.

The 51 exquisite rooms are all fully equipped with safe deposit box, satellite TV, mini bar, direct phone, internet connection and hair dryer in the bathrooms. They are all medium in size decorated in soft colours creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere with wooden floors and fully equipped bathrooms. Some of them face balconies overlooking the bay.

The hotel does not provide restaurant service but room service and tapas in the bar/cafeteria which during summer can be enjoyed in the outside terrace. Buffet breakfast is served every morning in a pleasant area with friendly staff and a wide variety of cold meats, fruit, cereals, bread and pastries.

Direct flight connections are available from Madrid, Barcelona, Alicante, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Málaga, Sevilla, Valencia, London, Rome and Frankfurt. Train connections: from Bilbao take the A8 direct to the Santander coast, where the hotel is located. From Burgos take the N623 to Escudo harbour or the N627 and the A67 to Aguilar de Campo and Reinosa. Then follow the signs to the centre and the harbour. From Oviedo take the N634 and the A8, which connects with the A67 in Torrelavega. Then follow the above mentioned signs to the harbour district.
