Located in 1 Onan Road, Geylang Singapore, Hotel 81 - Tristar is less than 10 minutes ride from the nearby Paya Lebar MRT Station to Singapore Expo or to Orchard Road in 15 minutes. Geylang is famed for the combination of the two cultures which is Malay and Chinese known as Peranakan have produced a unique culture and cuisine, and all of which can be found in this area of Singapore. It is 6 km to city center, and 10 km to the nearest airport which is Changi International Airport.

Located in a very interesting area of Singapore, Hotel 81 - Tristar boasts an utmost amenities and services. It is also 15 minutes to the airport which makes it a possible choice for stopovers. Guests are welcomed sincerely and friendly in the medium sized lobby opened to the street though full glass pane, and the stylish lobby boasts an elegant black marble top reception counter, grand chandelier and art pieces. There are ample seating area next to the reception and is a little internet room where computer are available for use at a small charge. To ensure guests' satisfaction, the hotel is furnished with an utmost amenities and services such as business center, disable facility, public internet, car park and laundry service.

Rooms
The rooms feature individually adjustable air conditioning and come with either 2 single beds or 1 king-size bed. All rooms boast an en-suite bathroom with a long bathtub and include amenities such as a TV, a direct dial telephone, coffee/ tea making facilities, a hairdryer and a minibar. An ironing set is available on request, and it is possible to book a non-smoking room.

There are no restaurants, but breakfast is served at the pool side cafe which is nice and shady with wooden deck furniture.

The MRT (subway) connection from the airport can bring one to the nearest station, Paya Lebar MRT Station then a short taxi or bus ride will bring guests to the hotel.
