The business hotel was reborn after a complete refurbishment in
2003, showcasing special touches like a lobby with a minimalist
theme, a Balinese-style resort pool and a host of specially
designed rooms and facilities equipped with the latest technology.
Featuring 380 rooms over 18 floors, the hotel offers 6 Junior
Suites, 16 Suites and 2 Room for its guests. Facilities include a
lobby with a 24-hour reception, a safe, a currency exchange,
disabilities facilities and lifts. Dining options comprise a cafe,
restaurants and a bar. Conference facilities, room service and a
car park are also offered. In addition, the hotel is also furnished
with business center, babysitting, wheelchair accessible, medical
service and laundry service.
Rooms
The deluxe rooms are designed by the renowned design firm, Hirsch
Bedner Associates, in timeless elegance to provide guests with
warmth and a sense of comfort. Amenities include an en suite
bathroom, a minibar, a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone with
voice mail, satellite/cable TV, a radio and broadband internet
access. In addition, a tea/coffee maker, double bed, central air
conditioning and a safe are all included in the rooms.
Restaurant & Food
Element Restaurant serving daily international lunch and dinner
buffets is inspired by the five elements in Chinese astrology, and
Santaro caters traditional Japanese cuisines. Chinese cuisine from
Sichuan, Shaanxi, Liaoning and Beijing are served at Silk Road.
Thanying, a prestigious Thai restaurant serves authentic Thai
cuisine. In addition, Cafe Oriental with 1950s Chinese coffee shop
decor serves original Singaporean cuisine, and it never closed.
Activities & Sport
Recreational facilities include a beautifully landscaped half
Olympic-sized pool surrounded by sun loungers, a gym offering
state-of-the-art exercise machines, including treadmills with
personal video screens. In addition, tennis courts with coaching
services on request, and the 500 m² Aspara Spa, which
