This Scandinavian accented hotel is located centrally near the Finlandsky railway station - ideal for travellers arriving from or travelling to Helsinki on the high-speed train. As the hotel is located on the waterfront of the Neva embankment it offers excellent panoramic views across the city. This city hotel, which is named after the city, was built in 1970 and last renovated in 2002. It is the perfect choice for tourists and business travellers alike, offering budget and quality accommodation in its 410 rooms. The hotel features a 33,000 square foot Grand Concert Hall as well as a Glass Conference Hall, which are both beautiful and functional. Guests are welcomed into a lobby with a currency exchange facility, a cloakroom, lift access, a hairdressing salon, bar and restaurant. There are conference facilities for business travellers and WLAN Internet access. For an additional fee, guests can take advantage of the hotel's room and laundry services. Those arriving by car may park their vehicles in the hotel's car park (fees apply).

Rooms

All newly renovated rooms are of very good standard and resemble a typical Scandinavian hotel, with light furniture, practical layout and comfort. River View category rooms have views over the Neva that are particularly attractive during the White Nights period.

There are two restaurants serving traditional Russian and International cuisine. A buffet breakfast is served in the first floor restaurant which offers fantastic views of the city across the river Neva. There are also a few bars and a nightclub on one of the higher floors.
