However, while the hotel's interior is certainly something to appreciate, the property's outdoor facilities are what give the Grand Hotel Aminta its' character. Bordered by lavender bushes, olive trees and bougainvillea, the hotel grounds feature sun terraces and a signature pool bar, where live music and casual dancing render a sense of evening enchantment. Exterior: White, 6-floor building style in the Mediterranean style with red windows and roof.
Lobby: Large, decorated in light grey-and-white marble, white painted walls.Carefully furnished in a classical style with a few wicker pieces. A wide marble staircase leads you to the upper floor.Soft light lamps and paintings give a charming touch. The huge lounge with many yellow sofas, white cushioned chairs and coffee tables is very inviting, This wide space is charmingly divided into intimate corners with several arches & plants and flowers.Bar is an extension of the lobby area.The atmosphere and furnishing is the same as in the lobby .The clients can enjoy a view of the Gulf from every part of the hotel.

Medium sized, pale yellow painted walls, blue tiled floor, carefully decorated. Light wood furniture in a classic style. Predominant colours are blue (like the sea) and yellow (like the sunshine). It's clear that every detail has been carefully studied and co-ordinated with Mediterranean style.All the guestrooms have air conditioning, direct dial telephone, satellite tv, in-room safe, mini bar, free high speed internet access (wired and wireless) and some have balcony with breathtaking views.

Guests may select their breakfast from an ample buffet; lunch and the evening meal can be chosen from a menu whilst the latter may alternatively be taken à la carte. Special dietary requirements and individual-specific dishes can be provided. It is possible to book a half-board or a full-board stay.

There is a swimming pool and a pool/ snack bar in the outdoor complex where sun loungers (charges apply) and parasols have been laid out ready for use.

A shuttle bus service is provided to the centre of Sorrento.

From Naples airport take the motorway A3 Salerno / Reggio C., and take the exit Castellammare di Stabia. Then follow the signs to Sorrento or Penisola Sorrentina. Once in Sorrento, drive to end of town centre (by the hospital), then proceed on Via Capo for 1 km. You will reach a fork in the road, take the lef road going up to Sant'Agata (Via Nastro Verde) proceed for 2 km until you see the Hotel Aminta on the right hand side of the road.
