Aliya is a unique and beautiful property, nestled in the heart of a traditional Balinese village, minutes from the bustling dining and shopping centre of Seminyak. Entering Aliya, guests are welcomed into a cosy village within a village. Surrounded by Frangipani trees and a diverse range of tropical foliage, our guests can relax in their private cottage or in our traditional Indonesian “Bale†with friends, family or with a book.

Inspired by Javanese architecture, the Gladak is a loft-style teak cottage with an open space ground floor and an enclosed upstairs air-conditioned bedroom with adjoining bathroom. Downstairs, the open space is filled with warm, lovely light, exposed ceilings and is enveloped by lush tropical flora. This is a peaceful spot for reading, relaxing and meditating. The downstairs pantry is equipped with a refrigerator and other kitchen essentials for a romantic in-room dining experience. The bedrooms are furnished with a high quality double bed, complete with luxurious Egyptian cotton linen and contemporary shelving and wardrobe combinations, using brushed metal and reclaimed Indonesian wood. More than 80 international cable channels, 32†LED TVs and personal DVD players complete the private space upstairs.

Small but perfectly formed, the Kitchen was conceived to complement the simple and organic nature of the resort and its surroundings. Our menu changes according to the seasons but the flavours are always robust, sunny and typically from the Middle East and Asia.

Our sister and namesake, Aliya Salon & Day Spa opened in November 2013. Located 350 metres from the hotel, overlooking verdant Balinese rice fields; we are guided by the principles of nurture, total well-being, relaxation and healthy indulgence.
