This first-class hotel lies close to the centre of Düsseldorf whose picturesque old town lies beside the River Rhine and offers a brewery and bars, one of which has the longest bar in the world. Art enthusiasts will love this city in which culture is in the air, with the works of Picasso and Beuys on display in the galleries, Heinrich Heine at the Institut, the Deutsche Oper beside the Rhine, cabaret and other works of art open to visits. The Neue Zollhof by Frank O. Gehry in the redeveloped harbour area and the Japanese culture in the EKO-Haus are just two of the many award-winning exhibitions open to guests. Links to the public transport network are to 200 m from the hotel.

Although not centrally located, the hotel has good tram connections to the fair ground and the city centre and is recommended for both leisure and business visitors to Dusseldorf.
Exterior: Modern, purpose built.
Lobby: Large, in an atrium style with many plants and shrubs. The reception desk is on the left as you enter the hotel and the lifts are located in front of the main door. The lobby makes extensive use of Polished brass, concealed lighting and sumptuous carpets.
