The recently reopened hotel was the first of its chain to open in
Cuba. It is located on one of nicest stretches of beach in
Varadero. Comprising a total of 525 rooms, the air-conditioned
hotel offers guests a lobby with 24-hour reception, a hotel safe,
currency exchange facilities, lift access and a hairdressing salon.
Entertainment is provided in the auditorium, games room, children's
playground and kids' club. The café, bar and restaurant serve food
and drinks. Conference facilities, WLAN Internet access, room and
laundry services, a car park and garage are also available.
Rooms
All rooms are en suite and equipped with a shower, bath, hairdryer,
double or king-size bed, direct dial telephone and satellite/cable
TV. Furthermore, a safe, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities,
an ironing set and a balcony or terrace come as standard. All rooms
are air-conditioned.
Restaurant & Food
A continental breakfast is served each morning, whilst lunch and
dinner may be selected from buffets.
Activities & Sport
Guests may take a refreshing dip in the outdoor swimming pool with
children's swimming area and poolside snack bar, or take advantage
of the sun loungers and parasols laid out for use. Guests can keep
fit with the aqua fit and aerobics classes or a work out in the
gym. The hot tub, sauna and massage service ensure guests'
relaxation. A wide range of water sports are on offer including
waterskiing, diving, windsurfing, banana boating, sailing,
catamaran boating, canoeing and pedal boating. Further sport
facilities include badminton, tennis, table tennis, pool/snooker,
basketball and handball. Volleyball, beach volleyball, bocce,
archery and biking are additional options. The hotel organises
entertainment programmes for adults and children. Sun loungers and
parasols can be found on the nearby beach. Varadero Golf Club is
situated some 5 km from the hotel.
