This 18th-century paper factory has been restored following
principles of environmental sustainability to create a unique eco
hotel, which opened in 2009. Guests can enjoy a stay surrounded by
greenery, but with all the luxuries that a hedonist traveller
expects from a four-star hotel, such as high gastronomy, impeccable
service and high-quality spa treatments. Its Salón da Fonte,
with its large windows leading directly to the hotel entrance
courtyard is ideal for celebrating weddings or holding fashion
shows and large-group meetings. Facilities available to guests in
this air-conditioned, 45-room historical hotel include a lobby with
24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, lift
access, a hairdressing salon, games room and TV lounge. Guests may
also relax in the café or bar, dine in the restaurant and
make use of the WLAN Internet access, room and laundry services,
car park, garage and a bicycle hire service.
Rooms
The thick forest welcomes visitors in a friendly environment and
ensures quietness in each of the unique bedrooms tastefully
decorated with works of art and antiques and an exquisite French
touch. Each room features an en suite bathroom with shower, bathtub
and hairdryer, as well as a double bed, direct dial telephone, TV,
radio, Internet access, a safe, minibar and individually regulated
air conditioning and heating.
Restaurant & Food
The attractive and authentic menu invites guests to sample
high-quality exquisite Galician cuisine with a personal style only
found in these outstanding chefs' recipes. A continental breakfast
buffet is served each morning and à la carte options are
available for lunch and dinner. Restaurant Filigrana is closed on
Sunday evenigs and on Mondays all day.

Guests may take a dip in the heated indoor swimming pool, relax in
the sauna or steam room, and choose from a selection of spa and
massage treatments (fees apply to all activities). Guests may also
explore the local area by bike or go for a round of golf on the
course, situated around 1 km from the eco hotel.
