Fully renovated in 2003, this historic beach hotel, with its own
private beach, spacious lawns and seaside promenade, comprises a
total of 120 rooms, of which 2 are disability-friendly, spread
between a main building and an annexe building. There are 7 suites
and 6 junior suites. Facilities on offer include an entrance hall
with 24-hour reception, a cloakroom and lift access. Guests can
also make use of the hotel's café, bar, newspaper stand, on-site
hairdresser, games room, restaurant, conference facilities, WLAN
access point and room service. There is parking available for
guests arriving by car, and the hotel provides a kids' club and
playground for younger guests. The hotel has long been a focal
point on the Sea of Galilee and a museum on site tells the story of
the part the hotel has played in Israeli history. It is the ideal
place for visitors looking for a relaxing place to stay, famous for
its excellent cuisine.
Rooms
All rooms are decorated in a contemporary style and most look out
over the Sea of Galilee. Each one comes with an en suite bathroom
with a shower, a bathtub and a hairdryer, as well as a direct dial
telephone, a cable TV, a radio, Internet access and a minibar. Tea
and coffee-making facilities, an iron and ironing board, a double
or king-size bed, individually adjustable air conditioning and
heating, a safe and either a balcony or a terrace also come as
standard. Suites also provide guests with facilities to play
DVDs.
Restaurant & Food
The elegant restaurant is a very peaceful, calm room with a balcony
facing the sea of Galilee. It has blue carpeting, wooden tables and
chairs and is upholstered in brown and orange with matching
table-cloths and napkins.
Activities & Sport
There is a heated outdoor pool on the hotel grounds, with a
children's paddling section, a poolside snack bar, sun loungers and
parasols. There are water sports options available on the hotel's
private beach. The hotel also offers guests use of a Jacuzzi, a
sauna, a steam room and a gym, and the opportunity to relax with a
massage or one of the many available spa treatments. There is
nightly entertainment in the lobby bar and special events are
organised throughout the year.

Directions, How to get
there
From Tel-Aviv take the coastal road (# 2) in the direction of
Haifa. At Zichron Ya'akov turn right and follow road # 70 through
Yokneam until reaching Shaar Hamakim Intersection. Turn right onto
the road to Tiberias (# 75) then turn off left onto road # 77 and
follow it to Tiberias. On reaching the city turn right and then
left and drive straight ahead until the hotel is directly
ahead.
