Scoot Pte Ltd.  Is a Singaporean low-cost long-haul airline owned by Singapore Airlines. It starts in 2012 on medium and long-haul roads from Singapore, predominantly to Australia and China. 

On 25th July 2017, Tigerair was officially merged into Scoot using Tigerair AOC but retaining the name Scoot. With the change of AOC, the IATA code was changed from TZ to TR. Its head office is at Singapore Changi Airport.

Scoot Economy Class

  • Scoot offers economy class with bigger seatings compared to other airlines. Standard seats in Economy on our 787 Dreamliners have an average 31” seat pitch and 18” seat width. While the Airbus 320 offers 20.5" seat width and 28" seat pitch. Scoot Baggage Allowance

Cabin : Limited to 1 piece up to 10kg, or 2 pieces including a laptop or handbag with combined weight not exceeding 10kg.

Check-In :

  • Free checked-in baggage is not available. 
  • Extra baggage can be purchased during Scoot flights reservation check out at NusaTrip using the add extra options button in flight details.
  • Sports gear, infant equipment and musical instruments may be checked in as part of your checked baggage allowance, subject to size restrictions and space availability.
  • For health and safety reasons, Scoot reserves the right not to accept any individual item as Checked Baggage that exceeds 32 kg.

Scoot Check In

  • Scoot's check-in counters open 3hrs before scheduled departure and close 60mins before scheduled departure with no exceptions.

  • All guests are strongly advised to arrive at the airport at least 120mins before departure so you may complete check-in procedures on time.
  • Boarding gate opens 60mins before departure and closes 20mins before departure.
  • Scoot's check-in counters at Singapore Changi Airport are located at Row 10 - 12, Terminal 2.
  • Web Check-in is available from 72hrs to 1hr before flight departure.

Scoot Fare Rules

  • Fares quoted are per person per one way journey. All fares are subject to change until payment is made in full and all seats are subject to availability.
  • Fares quoted are subject to airport taxes and other prevailing charges, unless already included in the fare.
  • Subject to applicable law, Scoot fares are non-refundable and cannot be downgraded, except at Scoot’s sole discretion in circumstances such as denied boarding or downgrading due to flight Effective 25 July 2017 overbooking, a significant schedule change (flight retiming of 8 hours or more) / flight cancellations or disruptions
  • If an infant travels in the lap of an Accompanying Guest, then the infant’s transportation may be booked for a fee as per the Fees Chart. An infant must be at least six (6) months of age on the date of travel to occupy a seat.

Scoot Change and Refund

  • Tickets are non-cancellable and non-refundable.

  • Flight date change is allowed up to 4 hrs before departure; fee & fare difference apply. Not allowed for other partner journeys.
  • Name change is a llowed up to 4 hrs before departure; Fee & fare difference apply. Not allowed for other partner dayneys.
  • In the event that a Scoot flight is canceled, Scoot will reschedule all the passengers on the next available Scoot flight, free of charge.
