Built in 1967, this grade II listed building is a residential conference centre. It is set in 15 hectares of parkland in a quiet location, where marked-out paths guide guests round. There are 46 rooms in total. Guests are welcomed into a reception hall with 24-hour check-in and check-out service. The hotel also has a separate room with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board, which may be used free of charge. The hotel offers plenty of free and secure parking and there is a restaurant on-site.

Most bedrooms are split-level with a study/lounge area either upstairs or downstairs. All rooms are en suite and come with satellite/cable TV, direct dial telephone, hairdryer, radio alarm clock and tea and coffee making facilities. Other amenities include Internet access, an ironing set and heating.

There is an extensive range of hot and cold items available from the breakfast buffet. The dining room is closed for lunch and dinner on Saturdays and Sundays.

There is an on-site gym, plus two squash courts and a sauna. There is also a snooker room in the main building. These facilities are free of charge to residential guests. For golf enthusiasts, Hinksey Heights Golf Course is only about 5 minutes away by car.

Reception is available 24 hours a day. Guests are advised that they should ring the doorbell for attention if the front door is locked upon arrival. Luggage can be stored in a secure luggage room.

From London Heathrow Airport, take the M40 West, and exit at Junction 8. Follow the A40 and Ring Road South to Kensington Street. The hotel is approximately a 15-minute taxi ride from Oxford railway station.
