Constructed in 1985 and renovated in 2006, the twin-tower city hotel has a total of 26 floors. Fairmont Singapore Hotel is a contemporary, trend-setting luxury establishment, proudly presenting quality furnishing and comprehensive utmost amenities and services. On offer are 769 rooms in an Asian-inspired style, of which 22 are suites. Facilities include a lobby area with 24-hour reception, air conditioning, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility, lift access, a selection of shops, and a hairdresser. Guests may further take advantage of the laundry and 24-hour room services, the medical assistance, and the parking car. An on-site business center provides office services and a high-speed Internet connection (charges apply), while the Congress Center next door feature 7,432 m² of meeting and event space, including a ballroom that can accommodate up to 3,200 guests.

The 215 rooms in the North Tower including the Fairmont Rooms (formerly known as Deluxe) are located from the sixth floor and up and feature up to 38.6 m² of living space. All come with a private balcony, which offers spectacular views over the city or the pool, and these rooms boast either a queen-size or two super single beds. In addition, the 252 premier luxury rooms in the South Tower, including the deluxe rooms, feature a pleasant color scheme, luxurious beds with goose-down pillows and bed linen, a raindrop design shower, and parquet flooring. From these rooms, guests have views over the pool, the harbor, or the city, and can choose between a king-size bed or two super singles. Extra beds can unfortunately not be provided.

There are a total of 10 restaurants and lounges that offer a variety of dining, including Japanese, Swiss, Italian, Chinese and fine continental cuisine, or even just a casual meal. Culinary options include a traditional Japanese Szechuan restaurant, an Italian-American pizzeria, and a cafe specializing in regional dishes. In addition, there are also a jazz lounge, a bar, a restaurant by the pool, and a hip nightclub.

The 4,645 m² Amrita Spa feature two free form outdoor swimming pools with a separate children's pool, six tennis courts (charges apply), hot and cold plunge pools, and 35 spa rooms offering massage therapy, body treatments, facials, nail care, hydrotherapy, and other services. There is also a poolside snack bar and both sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use. Sports enthusiasts may also enjoy a work-out in the gym (charges apply), with cardiovascular equipment, a strength-training area, saunas, and steam baths. Courses in aerobics, yoga, and kick boxing complete the offerings here.
