The family-friendly complex has been operating since 1982, and
through the years it has increased in capacity; starting off with
30 apartments, it is presently established as one of the leading
aparthotels on the island, offering 158 apartments. Facilities on
offer to guests include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception, a
currency exchange facility, lift access, a café, a mini
supermarket, 2 bars, a games room and a restaurant. For an
additional fee, guests may also take advantage of Internet access
and the room and laundry services.
Rooms
Standard studio apartments feature a double bed or a twin (a sofa
bed can be added if requested). These rooms also come complete with
a kitchenette with a fridge and cooker, en suite bathroom, an
ironing set, a safe, a direct dial telephone and a ceiling/standing
fan. The rooms feature a balcony and have either a view overlooking
the street, with a backdrop of terraced fields leading to the
beautiful Sanctuary of Mellieha Church; or a sea view.
Restaurant & Food
Guests may enjoy their breakfast either from a buffet or à la
carte. A snack menu is available throughout the day. Dinner is
served either in the restaurant or on one of the terraces, where
guests can choose from the à la carte menu. The hotel hosts special
theme nights 3 times a week, such as barbecues and charcoal grill
nights.
Activities & Sport
The hotel offers 2 outdoor pools, one on the rooftop and one on the
ground floor, as well as a poolside snack bar, sun loungers and
parasols. A diving centre is also on-site, welcoming both expert
divers and beginners (charges apply). Dives vary from shipwrecks,
caverns, magnificent drop-offs and boat dives to night dives in
various superb sites in Malta, Gozo and Comino. There is live
entertainment on offer 2 to 3 times a week.
Directions, How to get
there
Guests are recommended to take the road which passes through Qormi,
Zebbug, Mosta and St. Paul's Bay before arriving at Mellieha. The
hotel is situated beyond Mellieha's town centre, just before the
beach.
