Located where the Champs-Elysees meets avenue George V, at the
heart of Paris? Golden Triangle, the Hotel Fouquet?s
Barrière offers luxurious rooms all decorated in a subtle
blend of French tradition and modernity, as well as meeting rooms
and a boardroom. Daring architecture, state of the art technology,
sumptuous spa and a dedicated butler service? This Member of the
Leading Hotels of the World combines all the ingredients to help
its guests enjoy an exceptional experience during their stay.
Exterior: The Hotel Fouquet?s Barrière was raised from the
ground as the natural extension of an already mythical
establishment, thereby fulfilling a family dream. Edouard
François successfully took up the challenge of further
sublimating the capital?s aesthetic beauty by looking towards the
future whilst preserving the legacy of the past, in one of the most
prestigious areas of Paris. From the quite varied 5 buildings which
make up the hotel, the architect managed to create a unified
entity, revisiting the Parisian Haussmannian style
Lobby: Upon entering number 46 avenue George V, one encounters an
atmosphere of calm and serenity, a shower of crystals being the
only gentle surrounding sound. The Carrara marble geometric floor
starkly contrasts with the amazing diamond rivière
surrounding the reception desk. The gently curved walls are covered
with rich brown leather, embroidered with the hotel?s signature
vegetation motif. Alcoves hiding behind golden sheer curtains,
surrounded by oversized mirrors and overhanging amber chandeliers
in Murano hand blown glass, accentuate the welcoming atmosphere. A
fabulously eccentric oversized Louis XVth style day bed 9 meters in
length and standing over 2 meters tall, takes centre stage in an
unexpected play on futurism. Directly above, a display of black and
white photographs portrays Barrière family members as well
as celebrities from the cinema industry that have been guests.
