Set in a building dating back to 1945, this hotel has a total of 99 rooms and was newly renovated in 2007. Fully air-conditioned, it features a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service and lift access. There is an on-site café, bar and restaurant, whilst conference facilities and wireless Internet access are also available (a fee applies for the latter). Room and laundry services are provided (fees apply), whilst guests arriving by car can leave their vehicles in the hotel's own private car park.

Rooms
All rooms are en suite with bathtub/shower, hairdryer and toiletries. They have either one standard double bed or 2 single beds. The rooms are equipped with all modern amenities including a direct dial telephone, satellite TV with pay TV, Internet access, and tea and coffee making facilities.

Restaurant & Food
The hotel has a lounge bar we drinks are served throughout the day. There is also the Panache Restaurant, offering modern International cuisine and a fine selection of wines.

Directions, How to get there
From the M25 (Junction 27), take the M11 southbound. At the end of the M11, take the right-hand exit onto the A406 (North Circular) towards the West End. Keeping to the left-hand lane, take the first exit left towards Woodford. At the roundabout, take the right-hand lane and the third exit A104 to Woodford Green/Epping Forest. Approximately 300 m from the roundabout, immediately after the petrol station, take the first turning left into Oak Hill. The hotel is just under 150 m ahead on the right.

Located in a secluded area of the ancient Epping Forest, there is a multitude of nearby historical sites to complement the forest. Chingford is home to the Queen Elizabeth Hunting Lodge dating back to the Tudor era; the old market town of Waltham Abbey dates back to 1035. The Iron Age hill fort settlements of Ambresbury Banks and Loughton Camp are even older and both lie within the forest itself. The hotel is on the Central Line tube line (nearest stop is South Woodford). The centre of London is 20 km away and here guests can find theatres, shops and all the capital's well-known attractions. The Docklands lie to the east of London and contain the financial heart of Canary Wharf. For the business traveller or delegate, the M11 and M25 are just minutes away and 2 airports, London Stansted (45 km) and London City, are also within easy reach.
