Renovated in 2006, this air-conditioned 25-story city hotel comprises a total of 402 rooms of which 21 are suites. There are 7 meeting rooms including the Phoenix Grand Ballroom (525 m²), a business centre with secretarial services & internet access (for a fee), 2 bars, the Living Room and the Lobby Bar to make use of. Dining options include the Dragon Phoenix Chinese restaurant, Mogul Mahal Indian restaurant and an in-house restaurant, The Square, which serves international cuisine. The lobby is located on the 7th floor, with the Liang Court Shopping Mall on the 2nd to 4th floors. Additional hotel amenities range from a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange bureau and lifts to a hairdressing salon, a nightclub, room and laundry services (charges payable) and a car park (fees also due).

The newly renovated rooms afford views out over meandering Singapore River, the city skyline or the lush greenery of Fort Canning Park. Standard rooms of 28 m² in size come with either a queen-sized or a king-sized bed (no extra bed allowed). Bathrooms are fitted with a shower over a long bath. The Superior and Deluxe rooms are 32 m² and 40 m² in size respectively and offer either twin beds or a king-sized bed. 1 extra bed can be added on payment of an additional fee. Bathrooms have a separate shower stall and long bath. All rooms have a hairdryer, a work desk with high-speed Internet access (fees apply), an in-room electronic safe, cable TV, a radio, a minibar, a small fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, centrally controlled air conditioning and a balcony or terrace. Guests have the choice between smoking or non-smoking rooms (on request).
