Exterior: A Modern concrete and glass low rise building situated on an elevated position to maximise the fantastic views. All rooms have floor to ceiling windows.
Lobby: A small functional lobby this is again shared with the next door A-line hotel, with tourist information desk and booking service. There is a lounge area adjacent to the check-in area.

All of the hotel rooms are modern, neatly furnished and include en suite facilities. The hotel has superior rooms and one-bedroom suites, the latter featuring a separate bedroom, spacious en suite bathroom with separate bath and shower, lounge with music system and double bed settee, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer. Many of the rooms have lake and mountain views and both room types can interconnect to form a two bedroom suite ideal for families or groups. Additional in-room amenities include a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, minibar and ironing set.

The Hillside Brasserie which is shared with the next door hotel the A-line, is open for breakfast and dinner serving straight forward unpretentious New Zealand and Pacific cuisine. There is also a bar.
