In 1912 the hotel was restored by a trekking expert who made this place a starting point for hiking to the nearby sites. The riad is beautifully decorated and offers an extraordinarily calm and serene atmosphere to guests. Its organic garden provides fresh fruit and vegetables. Rooms
The hotel features traditional Berber architecture and spacious and comfortable rooms with common bathrooms with showers. The elegant rooms are extremely clean and tastefully decorated with nice views of the Valley of Roses and the heights of the High Atlas mountains. Each room features a double or king-size bed, Internet access, a washing machine and a private terrace.
Restaurant & Food
The hotel offers bed and breakfast, half board and full board stays, with vegetarian menus. The products are fresh and prepared on site. Everything is made by the family. Guests can watch and participate in the preparation of a Berber couscous dish or other dishes typical of the Atlas region. Guests may select their lunch and dinner from set menus.

The entertainment team of the hotel offers excursions to the mountains, desert and the Atlantic coast. Guests can go mountain biking (fees apply), camel or mule trekking, or hiking. The mountain guides are professional and they leave guests to discover the daily life of the Berbers, with social and cultural activities. During their stay, guests can participate in this sharing association by providing clothing, books or know-how to share with the people. Directions, How to get there
The hotel is 90 km south west of Ouarzazate and its airport. Situated between two mountain ranges (the Central High Atlas and M'Goun Djebel Saghro), the kasbah is located in the heart of the Valley of Roses, 4 km from the Capital of Roses (Kelaa M'Gouna). Arriving at the kasbah sign, follow the trail accessible to cars for 800 metres to arrive in the village of Ait Khiyar, which is situated at an altitude of 1500 m, far away from the noise of the city.
