Exterior: The hotel is a striking modern building on the corner of the hight st and the George IV bridge.
Lobby: Like the rest of the hotel the lobby is large in proportion and big on style. There is a bar area directly adjacent to the reception desk making guest feel immediately involved and part of the exciting atmosphere (don't worry there's not a hint of zany organized fun here, it's far too chic for that).

The hotel offers 136 rooms and suites, some of which enjoying stunning views over the city landmarks and the famous Royal Mile. The rooms continue the palette of black and white seen throughout the property, and are animated with bursts of colour. Combining form and function, the accommodation has been carefully designed to meet the needs of today's modern travellers. Each room includes a Nespresso coffee machine, esprecially designed Missoni robes and bath products. Also included in each room is the wifi & wired internet; local calls; on demand movies; two items of in house laundry & the complimentary min bar.

The hotel restaurant is the beating heart of the hotel and although there is a distinct trend towards more Italian cuisine there is enough of an international influence to keep everyone happy. the quality of the food is second to none and the menu is regularly updated so that the freshest in season produce can be used.

Travelling from the Airport, head northeast on Jubilee Road. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Eastfield Road. Go through 2 roundabouts.Take the ramp onto A8/Glasgow Road. Turn right at Torphichen State. Turn left at B700/Dewar Place. Continue to follow B700. Continue on Bread Street, then on W Port, and on Grassmarket. Turn left at W Bow. W Bow turns slightly right and becomes Victoria Street. Turn right at George IV Bridge.
