The historic building has been transformed into a luxury hotel and spa, retaining some original architectural features, such as marble fireplaces, wood panelling and lofty, ornate ceilings, and against this aristocratic backdrop a sympathetic, rich, textural design has been applied. The building dates from 1823 and was previously the home of the Royal Scottish Automobile Club. In addition to a reception area with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe and lift access, facilities available to guests at this 93-room spa complex include a bar, restaurant, conference facilities and WLAN Internet access. Guests can also take advantage of room and laundry services for an additional fee.

Each room provides guests with a unique accommodation experience with many of the in-room features being the first to be found in Glasgow. A continental breakfast buffet is served each morning. Lunch and dinner can be enjoyed à la carte or selected from menu options.

The spa covers an area of 10,000 square feet and incorporates 9 luxury treatment rooms, a thermal suite with a range of experiences, including a hot tub and sauna. Other facilities include two relaxation pools, a rasul mud chamber, a relaxing lounge and café area, as well as several additional relaxation areas.
