W Retreat & Spa - Vieques Island

The hotel comprises a total of 156 guest rooms and suites, spread over 3 floors. Facilities on offer to guests at this air-conditioned establishment include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, and a hairdressing salon. There are 4 restaurants at the hotel- MiX, Alain Ducasse's signature restaurant on the beach which features French Latino Caribbean cuisine, W Cafe which features light fare, the Living Room offers tapas and finger food, and WET offers cocktails and grilled food by the pool.

With an exclusive menu of treatments designed to recharge and reinvigorate, the AWAY Spa becomes a deeper escape within this already secluded island paradise. Cats and dogs up to 18 kg are welcome. A non-refundable cleaning fee will be charged upon check-in. Additionally, a non-refundable daily fee will be added to the room rate. A cleaning and damage waiver must be signed upon check-in. Pets must be kept on a leash or be kept in a carrier in public areas. They must also be kept out of food and beverage areas. The Welcome Desk needs to be notified if a pet is left alone. Pet noise must also be prevented for the comfort of other guests. A mandatory resort fee will be charged upon check-out to all guests, this fee is payable locally by the guest to the hotel.

Vieques (VQS) is easily accessible from San Juan International Airport (SJU) with direct connections on Cape Air (airline code 9K) and an estimated flight time of 18 minutes. Major carriers, including American Airlines and Continental, provide interline service with transfer of luggage all the way through to Vieques. When booking travel on American Airlines (www.aa.com), guests should select 'all carriers' under the 'more flight search options' section on the homepage to view available Cape Air flight segments. For travel on Continental (www.continental.com), search 'Vieques, PR (VQS)' for available connections. Upon arrival at Vieques Airport, guests of the resort will be picked up and escorted to the W Airport Lounge for refreshments and light fare. W Talent will care for luggage while guests await transportation to the retreat. The drive to the retreat takes approximately 5 minutes.
