Sentido Djerba Beach

This family-orientated beach hotel complex is set in the midst of expansive, well-kept gardens and comprises a total of 183 rooms spread over 2 floors. The building forms a U-shape, enclosing an inner courtyard with a pool area, in the typical Tunisian style. Facilities on offer to guests at this air-conditioned establishment include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception with adjoining bar and satellite TV corner, plus a restaurant, an Arabic café, boutiques, a hotel safe and lifts. There is a cosy snack bar-pizzeria, where light meals are served, on the side of the hotel facing the beach as well as a hairdressing salon, a games room, conference facilities and Internet access (charges apply). Younger guests can enjoy a visit to the children's playground and kids' club (for ages 4 to 12).

All rooms come with a private bathroom with a bathtub/shower, a WC and a hairdryer as well as a telephone. They are also equipped with a safe and centrally regulated air conditioning (July/August) and heating and feature either a balcony or a terrace. A satellite TV and a fridge are available on request and for an extra charge.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner may be enjoyed in buffet form. Afternoon snacks are also served, including afternoon tea, coffee and cakes. Selected local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included, and wines, beers, soft drinks, cocktails and local spirits are served in all bars.

In the gardens there is a swimming pool with a children's pool, protected from the wind and surrounded by a sun terrace with sun loungers (extra charge for cushions). There is an extra charge for sun loungers and cushions on the beach. Guests can join an aqua aerobics session, relax in the sauna or steam bath (charges apply) or with a massage (for an additional fee). They can enjoy a game of tennis or table tennis, beach volleyball, darts or golf (charges apply) or try aerobics and go horse riding (charges apply) or mountain biking (charges apply). Sports enthusiasts can enjoy a work-out in the gym for an additional fee. The hotel organises an entertainment programme and evening functions for guests' amusement. The nearest 18-hole golf course is just 2 km from the hotel.
