Dating back to the 18th century and renovated in 2002, the Angleterre & Residence timelessly embodies the gentle art of living in a perfect combination of modernity and tradition. Authenticity and nature come together in a harmonious atmosphere of calmness and serenity. Divided into four separate pavilions, the 75 rooms and junior suites offer a diverse range of atmospheres, all offering guaranteed rest and well-being.
Exterior: Five pavilions surround the reception building, which stands in the midst of a pretty, flower-filled garden. Facing the lake, the external facades of the historic Angleterre and Lutetia buildings contrast with the resolutely contemporary elegant interior decor. One played host to Lord Byron, in 1816, whilst the other was home to the famous Lausanne Hotel Management School in its early days in 1893. With its comfortable English cottage style, the Florissant pavilion offers a more traditional and cosy atmosphere. The Longchamp, a modern but still charming building, offers generously sized bedrooms, many with terraces overlooking the garden or lake. The Platane pavilion is reserved solely for seminars and receptions and has a huge meeting room with large windows overlooking a small private terrace.
Lobby: Bright and spacious.
