Since opening its doors over 28 years ago, the hotel has been the most widely recognised, infamous resort in the world, with the highest volume of return guests and loyal clientele in the industry. Renovated in 2005, the air-conditioned hotel comprises a total of 280 rooms. Facilities include a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a safe and a currency exchange bureau in addition to a hairdresser's salon, a bar, a nightclub, a TV room, a dining room and conference facilities.

Each of the rooms has been completely renovated with a new colour scheme, soft furnishings and bathrooms featuring new multi-head showers. A 4-person suite with a Jacuzzi may be booked. Standard room amenities include a new TV set with cable, a hairdryer, coffee and tea making facilities, ironing equipment and a king-sized bed.

Meals come in a buffet form; the evening meal can alternatively be taken à la carte. It is possible to book an all-inclusive stay.

Amongst the leisure options count 5 swimming pools, a Jacuzzi, a sauna and, on payment of additional (nominal) fees, spa treatments and a massage service. Facilities for the disabled include 3 rooms with wheelchair access (1131, 2110 GVN and 2140 GVR), with a portable ramp to access to bedroom and bars in the bathroom in addition to lifts. All areas of the hotel may be accessed by wheelchair users with the exception of the piano bar where there are a few steps at the entrance, and the dance floor in the main dining room is sunken and so not accessible.
