De Rome

Our de Rome is physically as well as ideally located in a place in which the two souls of Rome melt one in another: The magnificence of the most representative antiquity and the popular face of the Quartiere Monti. The building itself works as a hinge between past and contemporaneity, rising on the imperial Forum of the Peace (78 AD)and being an Hostel for pilgrims since late 14thCentury during the official, recurrent celebrations of the catholic church. Fully renewed in 2011, building still keeps many of the features and aspects of the original spaces that reach their top in the inner garden: An unique and surprising space that reminds its history even if new elements of architecture and design have been introduced after renovation.

There is no restaurant in hotel but a nice and well decorated breakfast area.

During winter time, breakfast may be served in the room meanwhile from April to November in the beautiful terrace overlooking Colosseum and Roman Forum.
