This hotel underwent a billion-dollar renovation, is air-conditioned and comprises a total of 992 rooms spread over 36 floors. Facilities include a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe and a lift. Parking is also available for those arriving by car (parking fee: USD 34 per 24-hour period; secure, covered parking with in/out privileges- fee subject to change).

Spacious rooms and suites have 400-thread-count Egyptian-cotton linens. Each suite features a coffee machine, ironing set, a hire safe, a direct-dial telephone, a radio, a minibar, marble baths, robes and wireless Internet access (surcharge). High-definition, flat-panel TVs include premium cable channels and pay movies. High-tech extras include advanced sounds systems with i-Pod docks and iMac computers with 20-inch displays. Some rooms provide balconies and views of the Atlantic Ocean. Premium Plan is included and covers the following for up to four people per room for arrivals from May 1, 2010 onwards: Internet access (in I-Mac in-room computer only), four beach lounge chairs daily, admission for up to four people to the gym, free local and toll free calls and local newspaper.

Eleven food and entertainment options include three signature restaurants featuring well-known, highly-acclaimed chefs. The goal of the resort's culinary team is to provide an unparallel level of simple sophistication in dining experiences. A two-story steakhouse overlooks the picturesque pool and outdoor area. An Italian bistro overlooks the beachfront and a modern Chinese restaurant offers dim sum and other specialties. Additional food and beverage options include a three-meal restaurant in the lobby, sushi bar, two-story oceanfront pool grill and restaurant near the beach boardwalk, two satellite pool bars, lobby bar, quick-serve eatery and in-room dining.

The hotel features an ocean-front pool area including a large free-form pool and a private European pool. There is also a well-equipped gym on offer to hotel guests along with tennis courts. In addition, an activity program rounds off the hotel's offerings. Luxurious private cabanas with flat-panel TVs and butler service are available for rent, as are beach cabanas and personal watercraft.
