Exterior: The Hilton Durban's design reflects its surroundings with its exterior, shaped like a ships funnel and subtle African and nautical touches are woven throughout the five star international hotel. The 16 floor hotel has a glass exterior throughout.
Lobby: large open plan lobby with a small reception area to the left as you enter. There are a number of shops to the right of the lobby and in the centre is seating for guests as well as the bar and cafe.

The Hilton Durban offers 327 elegant rooms on 16 floors, all of which, are furnished with satellite television, a mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities, including fax and modem points Wifi, and in-room safes and electronic locks.There are 14 beautifully furnished suites, 4 of which open out onto large sun-kissed terraces, the most prestigious of which is the Presidential suite.
