Amara Sanctuary sits on the site of the historic British Sergeants Quarters that were built in the 1930's. Two of the building are conserve colonial heritage buildings which now houses the Verandah and Courtyard suites. The resort has its own tennis court, jogging track and three outdoor pools. The roof-top infinity pool overlooking the ocean is reserved exclusively for adult guests.
