Luna Alvor Bay Beach & Sun

This hotel is right in front of one of the best beaches in Algarve, a few metres from the centre of Alvor, a typical Algarve village, featuring Arabian architecture and many local bars, restaurants, shops and nightlife spots along the Ria de Alvor. There is a pedestrian shopping area nearby. Facilities include a lobby with 24-hour reception, hotel safe, lift access, and a cafe, bar and breakfast room. Guests may also hire bicycles for a fee from the hotel.

The exquisitely furnished and fully-equipped studio apartments all feature a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and electric kettle as well as a furnished balcony and an en suite bathroom with shower, bathtub and hairdryer. Other in-room amenities include a direct dial telephone, air conditioning, a safe, electronic security locks, satellite TV and a radio.

A breakfast buffet is served each morning and various snacks are available at the snack bar and pool bar.

The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool with poolside snack bar. Guests may explore the surrounding area by bike, and there are golf courses nearby and a casino in Praia da Rocha. Sun loungers and parasols can be hired for a fee on the nearby sandy/rocky beach.

For reservations during the New Years period (29.12 till 01.01.12), it required a safety deposit. This amount can be paid upon arrival either by credit card or cash and is returned on the departure day, upon verification of the apartment in case no damages have been made.

Follow the A22 in the direction of Portimão and then take the exit for Alvor. At the roundabout, take the second exit towards Alvor and take the road called Montes de Alvor (1.7 km). Continue straight along the main road and follow signs for Alvor Beach. The hotel is one of the 3 towers in front of the beach.
