The hotel is the one of best hotels in this area for both business and leisure travellers and is popular with the locals too as it is a completely different concept compared with other hotels in the city. The decor of European style is consistent throughout the whole hotel and guests could easily imagine that they are in Vienna rather than the second largest city in Japan.
Exterior: The hotel is a 14-storey brick facade building in yellow and white with 02 distinctive blue topped towers, but it resembles more like a castle from Vienna. It is dwarfed by the surrounding new high-rise buildings but is easily recognised and has a stone chapel squeezed between the two towers.
Lobby: The lobby of the hotel is located on 8th floor and is small with a cosy, European atmosphere completely restful from the high-rise modern city outside. Adjacent to the reception area, there is a drawing room furnished with European traditional and comfortable seating and is used for wedding photo shoots. The brick chapel in the courtyard is just outside the lobby and is a popular wedding venue. The courtyard also leads onto all the restaurants.
The hotel is located in Nishi Umeda which is a newly developed area in the west side of Umeda city centre. It can be accessed from the Shin-Osaka Station and both Itami and Kansai International Airport quite easily. It is within walking distance of Osaka station. 40 kms to the airport (kansai) 20 kms to the airport (itami) 6 minute walk to the nearest metro station (nishi umeda) 1 km to the nearest station (osaka) 5 minute walk to the nearest bus stop 1 km to the nearest fair site (grand cube osaka)
