Mapia Resort

Nestled in a tropical garden, Mapia Resort & Spa is located about 5 km from downtown Manado, directly by the sea. The resort includes a restaurant, a spa offering various massages as well as pedicure/manicure, and a divecenter. The resort also offers free WiFi so guests can always share their experiences with their loved ones at home.

The 5 Garden View and 2 Garden Family Cottages are embedded in a green garden landscape. The two Sea View Cottages are located directly on the beach. All cottages offer European comfort with air conditioning, ceiling fan, minibar and a large bathroom. The cottages are traditionally decorated, with comfortable beds for a deep sleep after a long day of diving. The fan provides a natural fresh breeze if you prefer to switch off the air conditioning. The cottages are spacious, and each cottage has its own private veranda overlooking the garden, pool or Bunaken National Park with the Manado Tua Volcano. The Garden View Family Cottage is ideal for families or groups as it has two bedrooms.

The restaurant serves specialties from the local cuisine as well as international dishes. Usually, meals are served at the buffet, or also family style, if the number of guests is smaller. The bar is open all day and offers a variety of snacks and soft drinks, juices and alcoholic beverages. All guests have full board, which includes all meals, tea and coffee in the afternoon, hot beverages are available for breakfast and water.

Our spa offers a nice variety of massages and other treatments to help you relax, refresh and rejuvenate. You can choose from a traditional Indonesian massage to a special aloe vera treatment to revitalize your skin after a sun bath. For animal lovers, an excursion to Tangkoko National Park, home to the world’s smallest primate, the Tarsius Koboldmaki. Guests who do not want to escape the water completely, visit the Kali waterfalls above Tomohon. Culture lovers might love to explore Manado City with a guide who shares his knowledge of local life and customs. Those who are not diving or on a tour can relax under palm trees in their hammocks, enjoy themselves by and in the pool or explore the garden. The resort also hosts regular workshops on the local underwater world.
