The apartment hotel's name is derived from the words 'atrium', meaning space, and 'zenon', which is the name of the founder of the ancient stoic school of philosophy based in Athens. From the first day of operation, the hotel's policy has been to give the best service possible to prospective guests and keep them returning every year. Renovated in 2010, this family-friendly apartment hotel welcomes guests in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service. Facilities include air conditioning, a hotel safe, currency exchange and lift access to the upper levels. There is also a TV lounge, café, bar and a breakfast room on the premises. Conference facilities are available to business travellers and all guests can take advantage of the Internet access, and the room and laundry services on offer (the latter two incur additional fees). Those guests who are arriving by car may park their vehicle in the hotel's car park. Bicycles can be hired from the hotel.

The apartments are elegantly furnished and decorated, creating relaxing surroundings, and include a private bathroom with a bath, a balcony, central heating and air conditioning, an international direct dial telephone, a radio and a satellite TV. Each apartment has a kitchenette with a fridge and cooking equipment. Moreover, Internet access, a safe and a washing machine provide added convenience.

Guests can take a dip in the outdoor swimming pool and refreshments are available from the poolside snack bar. Sun loungers and parasols are laid out for guests to use at the hotel and on the sandy beach (hire fees apply on the beach). Water sports on offer include waterskiing, jet skiing, diving, windsurfing, banana boating, pedal boating and canoeing. Guests can also set out on a bike ride from the hotel.
