The historic building has been transformed into a luxury hotel and
spa, retaining some original architectural features, such as marble
fireplaces, wood panelling and lofty, ornate ceilings, and against
this aristocratic backdrop a sympathetic, rich, textural design has
been applied. The building dates from 1823 and was previously the
home of the Royal Scottish Automobile Club. In addition to a
reception area with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a
hotel safe and lift access, facilities available to guests at this
93-room spa complex include a bar, restaurant, conference
facilities and WLAN Internet access. Guests can also take advantage
of room and laundry services for an additional fee.

The design and layout of all hotel rooms has been carefully planned
to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. Each room provides guests

features being the first to be found in Glasgow. Guests can expect
to find anything from four-poster beds to hand-crafted Italian
marble baths and showers, not forgetting the latest in-room mobile
technology, such as a direct dial telephone and Internet access. In
addition to a private bathroom with a bathtub/shower and a
hairdryer, other in-room amenities available to guests include a
satellite/cable TV, radio, hifi system, minibar and tea and coffee
making facilities. Furthermore, accommodation units come with an
iron and ironing board, individually regulated air conditioning and
heating units and a safe. A balcony or terrace is an additional
standard feature.
Restaurant & Food
A continental breakfast buffet is served each morning. Lunch and
dinner can be enjoyed à la carte or selected from menu
options.
