Renovated in 2004, the hotel building is situated in the middle of
52-hectare grounds. The stunning property, surrounded by natural
beauty, is one of the most attractive and exclusive spa and
restaurant hotels in the whole of Spain. The land on which the
hotel is built was originally used for growing oranges, mandarins
and grapefruits. Both the estate and the old farmhouse have been
renovated and are supplemented by 3 new buildings (the spa, the
restaurant and an accommodation building) Today the hotel comprises
a total of 27 rooms. Facilities available include an entrance hall
with 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, a cloakroom and lift access,
and guests can take advantage of the on-site café, TV
room, a restaurant, public Internet access, WLAN access point, room
and laundry services and parking for those arriving by car, some in
a garage.
Rooms
Each of the rooms is individually and lovingly decorated, and is
named after a different citrus fruit. The traditional cottage rooms
are accessible via an Arabic courtyard and fit perfectly into the
hotel's overall ambience. They are furnished in warm tones, are
modestly decorated and offer a breathtaking view of the estate and
the surrounding landscape. Each comes with an en suite bathroom
with hairdryer, as well as a direct dial telephone, a TV, Internet
access, a minibar, a double or king-size bed, individually
adjustable air conditioning and heating, a safe and a terrace.
Restaurant & Food
What makes the hotel special is not just its extraordinary
ambience, but also its unique design and creative Mediterranean
cookery, with a focus on citrus fruits. The "El Cadec" restaurant
has long been a well-kept secret among the locals of Valencia and
the region. The traditional recipes have been handed down through
word of mouth and the exclusive, unostentatious atmosphere is
finished with a stunning view over the idyllic surroundings, the
inner courtyard and the terrace. Each of the 6 top chefs is a
master of his craft, promising to provide exquisite and exceptional
menus. Guests are invited to indulge their palate at the same time
as taking in the remarkable architecture and typical Valencian
landscape.
Activities & Sport
The hotel offers its guests the use of a spa with a revolutionary
concept of health and beauty treatments. All treatments are based
on an intensive application of citrus fruits, including
aromatherapy, citrus-facials and a milk and orange bath. The staff
recognises the benefits of these applications and uses them at
every opportunity. There is also a sauna, a solarium, and a range
of massage and other treatments available in the spa, as well as
relaxation treatments including Vichy showers, aqua massage,
Scottish showers, a Turkish bath and a tropical swimming pool with
various massage jets. There is an outdoor swimming pool on the
hotel grounds, complete with a poolside snack bar and loungers. The
hotel also has its own Jacuzzi, sauna, solarium and steam room, and
a range of spa and massage treatments are additionally available.
Guests can also play paddle-tennis, tennis, table tennis, squash
and darts, or work out in the hotel gym. Aerobics classes are
available and there are facilities for rowing close at hand. There
are 2 golf courses within a 15-minute radius of the hotel, where
special instruction courses are available for guests.
