This European boutique-style hotel comprises a total of 63 rooms,
of which two are disability-friendly. Renovated in 2006, it
features a lobby area with a reception desk manned around the
clock, an express check-in desk, a hotel safe, a cloakroom, and
lift access. Further facilities include a café, a pub,
and two unique restaurants. Hugo's Grill offers relaxed dining in
an atmosphere richly appointed with warm textiles and wonderful
woodwork, serving gourmet food accompanied by an extensive wine
list. Hugo's Brewpub offers a more casual experience and offers a
rich selection of traditional beers based on Eastern European
recipes. Conference and convention facilities are also available,
as is an Internet connection. Guests may also make use of the room
and laundry services, the turndown service, and the concierge
services. Bicycle hire may be taken advantage of, and there is a
car park with valet parking available for those arriving by car.
The hotel was designed with the discerning leisure and business
traveller in mind.
Rooms
All the rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows as well as an en
suite bathroom with shower, hairdryer, lush terrycloth towels,
dressing gowns, and Aveda amenities. In addition, a direct dial
telephone, a 27-inch TV with an enhanced film selection, a radio, a
hi-fi, a minibar, a coffee machine, and an iron and ironing board
are also provided in all accommodation units as standard. Moreover,
the rooms feature a double or king-size bed, an electronic
voicemail message service, and a high-speed Internet connection.
All rooms feature heating and individually adjustable air
conditioning.
Restaurant & Food
A complimentary continental breakfast is provided every morning in
the form of a buffet. At lunchtime and in the evenings guests may
select dishes from the set menu or choose from the Ã
la carte option. Special dietary requirements may be catered for.

there
From Vancouver guests will reach the hotel either by BC Ferries,
which transport passengers and cars, by air from Vancouver
International Airport, or by seaplane. Harbour Air and West Coast
Air fly from central Vancouver to central Victoria. From Seattle
(USA), guests may travel from one city centre to another either by
Victoria Clipper ship, or with the passenger and car ferry from
Port Angeles, alternatively by seaplane with Kenmore Air.
